About

Born in Miami to Cuban and Swedish parents, Stephanie moved to New York to attend Parsons School of Design. She began her career in the fine jewelry industry, organizing production in the midtown atelier of a custom jeweler. There, she befriended a co-worker, a master jeweler who offered to teach her metal-smithing on weekends. The onset of COVID-19 transformed those weekends of learning into a full-time practice lasting nearly three years.

Mazuera’s approach merges fine art sensibility with high jewelry craftsmanship. Every design begins with an understanding of how the piece will live on the body, how it moves, catches light, and becomes part of someone.
With a background rooted in design, high jewelry craftsmanship, Mazuera offers an experience that is as thoughtful as the jewelry itself.

From sourcing the world’s most exceptional diamonds to collaborating closely on each custom commission, her process invites clients into the artistry behind their piece,  resulting in rings that feel deeply personal, balancing strength and sensuality.
